Founded in 2021, The Silk Studio began as a creative escape during a time of stillness and has grown into one of the UK’s leading suppliers of sustainable silk ribbons and luxury adornments.

For founder and designer Leanna Haskell, creativity has always been at the heart of her journey. After spending over eight years practicing law, Leanna knew change was afoot. It wasn't until she had her daughter and the pandemic stuck that she took a huge leap of faith and launched her own Wedding Styling business known as Leanna Elizbeth Weddings. During her time as a Wedding Designer, she discovered a demand for silk ribbons that balanced elegance with sustainability. Experimenting with natural dyeing during the pandemic, she fell in love with crafting colour from nature, and The Silk Studio was born.

As the business grew, so did the vision. The popularity of The Silk Studio’s ribbons inspired Leanna to expand the collection to include silk bows, scrunchies, and other adornments, each crafted with the same attention to detail and commitment to sustainability.
