Statement (large) bows are large - 20cm (at the widest point) x 35cm (at the longest point) and are multifunctional. They look stunning as a hair accessory or for adding that perfect finishing touch to your Christmas door wreath or garlands, depending on your preference.
Standard (medium) bows are slightly smaller - 15cm (at the widest point) x 30cm (at the longest point). They look great as a hair accessory of for decorating your Christmas tree.
Small Bows are slightly smaller again - 11cm (at the widest point) x 20cm (at the longest point). They come both with and without tails (one is a 'dickie bow' style and the other is a smaller version of our normal bows with 'tails')
We also offer extra small 'dickie bows' perfect for adorning suits and for little people! These are approx. 10cm (at the widest point) x 4cm (at the longest point).
They are made from a silk viscose medium pile velvet with a pure silk net and a viscose pile resulting in a super plush, luxurious feel. Unlike the faux velvet bows you'll find on the Highstreet, our silk velvet bows are made from a thicker, denser velvet meaning they'll last year upon year and are destined to become treasured heirlooms.
Note that we also offer silk velvet ribbons in corresponding colours. These are a one-sided ribbon which you can cut and shape however you like. These are different to our 'Ready Made - Ready to Wear' Silk Velvet Bows which are already sewn into the shape of a bow for you to use or wear.

Handwash using a PH neutral detergent, only if absolutely necessarily. Airdry away from direct sunlight. Iron on a low temperature setting. Note that natural dyees are described as 'living colour' because they can change overtime. Keep them away from direct sunlight to prevent premature fading. Avoid direct contact with jewellery and perfumes. We recommend keeping your ribbons rolled up on their spools until they are being used to prevent creasing. If you need to cut your ribbons, cut them using fabric scissors or a rotary blade on a 45 degree angle to prevent fraying and for a neat crisp edge.
We offer a range of different size ribbons depending on your desired use. We recommend a 2" wide ribbons for bouquets and 1" for buttonholes. Ribbons for cakes look best at 3" or 4" widths. Stationery ribbons are usually between 0.5" - 1.5" widths.
We offer samples for all our ribbons. These are presented on a piece of card and are approx. 15cm-20cm in length and 1" wide. Please note that samples should be used as a guide only - we cannot guarantee that the batch you later purchase will be from the same batch that your sample was provided from, so some variation may still occur. We strongly advise that you order as many ribbons as you need for your project in the same order to prevent colour variations.
