Sage Green Silk Velvet Ribbon - 1.8m length

Sage green is a cool, earthy green with an ashy-grey undertone. It boasts subtle pigmentation (some wider lengths may feature dark spots, but not all - if you're specifically concerned about this please leave a message of your preference in the box at the checkout) and marbling as a result of the hand dyeing process with natural dye matter.

This ribbon features 100% natural fibres, a combination of cellulose fibre viscose and protein fibre, silk. This is to ensure that the natural dye bonds to the fibres. The velvet feels extremely luxurious as a result.

Note that the underside is matte.

Note that natural variations will arise as a direct result of dyeing by hand and with natural materials. You may note subtle nuances – marbling and pigmentation, and some batches may vary in saturation slightly. We believe this is what makes each of our ribbons unique – no two are the same and they really are one of a kind. Perfection does not exist in nature, so we embrace the perfectly imperfect nature of our products.

Our ribbons are colourfast in cold water and can be washed in PH neutral soap. However, please take care with darker and stronger colours especially if they get soaking wet and avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for long periods of time as this can cause fading.

Ironing is not recommended to remove creases to your velvet ribbon as it is extremely sensitive and may result in burning the delicate fibres. However, our velvet ribbons do not crease very easily so provided you store them correctly, they should not become overly creased.
